Our Teachers will help students through their music education journey, whether it be to learn the basics in vocal production, exam and further music studies, auditions and more.
As with any musician, performance is a huge part of being a singer. Students will get many oportunities to perform in front of a live audience as well as training for any auditions and special events.
A basic understanding of Music Theory is important for all musicians and singers are no exception. With extensive training in theory students can feel confident in learning the fundamentals of music theory as well as the specific requirements for singing exams and VCE music.
Liz has an Associate Diploma in Singing and has been involved in the music industry for over 15 years.

“Georgia has been singing her whole life, starting her performing career at Music Festivals and Talent competitions from the age of 8.
Whilst having an innate love for all aspects of singing and performing, Georgia is at her most comfortable in the world of Musical Theatre. Having begun her acting career in her school productions, Georgia quickly progressed, taking on roles such as Mary Magdalene in ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and Lucille Frank in ‘Parade’ for which she was nominated for a Victorian Musical Theatre Guild Award in 2012.
After graduating her VCE she was immediately accepted into the Musical Theatre Program at VCA (Victorian College of the Arts) where she continued to foster her love of the stage. In 2015 she was accepted into the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA).
Having just starred as Dorothy Gale in the GLTC production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’, Georgia is excited to be Teaching at Geelong Singing. She is thrilled to be sharing the knowledge and confidence she has acquired as a singer, actor and performer."
Mae is a recent Graduate from Oxygen College, where she majored in performance and
composition. She has been a vocalist for as long as she has been able to sing, and had formal training throughout her Schooling and VCE Music.
Mae has a foot in both worlds of Music performance, being as comfortable on stage as part of an
ensemble as she is in a Live Band performing to a crowd. Mae has a huge amount of theatre experience, having been involved in many amateur productions, culminating in her leading role of Velma Kelly in Chicago.
Mae recently made the switch from stage to recording studio where she has just finished laying
down her debut EP, ‘Integrity’, which is due for release in early 2017. Having composed each piece
on the album, it is a true reflection of how rounded a musician Mae really is.
On top of being a dynamic vocalist, Mae also performs as a Guitarist, Bass player and Pianist in
multiple live acts, as well as her own. She has also recently picked up the violin to start learning, just
for the fun of it.
Passionate and young, but with a wide range of experience, Mae will be a great addition to the team at Geelong Singing.
Performing arts have always played a prominent role in Jorja’s life.
Beginning with dance lessons, her love of the arts began at an early age. As she grew, she developed her skills as a dancer, actor and singer to become a triple threat.
At just 17, Jorja was accepted on a full scholarship, into ‘Patrick Studios Australia’ where she followed her passion to complete high school and study at the Melbourne Academy. She then went onto study and complete an Advanced Diploma of Music, majoring in performance and composition.
Jorja brings with her a wealth of performance experience, with some of the highlights including the ‘Think Pink Ball’ (Crown Casino) and the ‘Dance Cancer Initiative (DCI)’ (Broadcast on Foxtel).
Along with being an experienced performer across many formats, Jorja is also an accomplished songwriter and recording artist, releasing her debut EP, ‘JORJA’, at the end of 2016. She is a powerhouse vocalist with a positive message to share which comes through in her songs and performances.
Jorja will be a dynamic and vibrant addition to our team at Geelong Singing, and can’t wait to start working with some amazing talent.
