LIZ

Education
Our Teachers will help students through their music education journey, whether it be to learn the basics in vocal production, exam and further music studies, auditions and more.
Studio Director and Teacher
Liz has been involved in the music industry for over 20 years, performing, teaching and training Teachers.
Liz is very familiar with the ANZCA, AMEB and VCE Singing and Theory syllabi having completed many Singing and Theory exams herself and holds an Associate Diploma in Contemporary Singing. Liz has enjoyed teaching singing and running choirs at local primary and secondary schools and has a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education. Liz has developed a singing program that encourages students of all ages, from toddlers to adults, to learn the joy of singing and music. Liz developed a music education program The Musical Garden and co - created an album of Music: 'Big Fun', available on Spotify and Apple Music.
Her many career highlights include working as a vocal director for various local theatre companies. Some of these include: Legally Blonde - The Musical, Eurobeat and Sound Of Music. Liz has also performed as part of very successful bands over the last decade, fronting the groups at weddings, corporate functions as well as performing in local musicals.

Whilst managing her career, Liz is also raising her four gorgeous girls Sophie, Chloe, Juliet and Charlotte who also have a passion for performing arts.
Liz believes in using your voice to create a whole vocal sound, making sure to use safe vocal techniques while having fun! Liz is committed to sharing this knowledge with the Students and Teachers at Geelong Singing.

Performance
As with any musician, performance is a huge part of being a singer. Students will get many oportunities to perform in front of a live audience as well as training for any auditions and special events.

Theory
A basic understanding of Music Theory is important for all musicians and singers are no exception. With extensive training in theory students can feel confident in learning the fundamentals of music theory as well as the specific requirements for singing exams and VCE and VET music.
ALANNAH
We are very excited to welcome Alannah to the Geelong Singing teaching team!
Alannah has been involved in the local theatre scene since the age of 7! Having performed with companies all around Geelong and in the lead role in productions such as Carrie the Musical, Sleeping Beauty, and most recently Snow White! Alannah brings a wealth of experience and is currently studying a Diploma of Musical Theatre with Oxygen College!
We know Alannah will form wonderful connections with her students and bring out the best of their vocal talents with her warm and bright personality.


RIORDAN
Singing has been a huge part of Riordan’s life. Playing at gigs around the Geelong region Riordan has gained a lot of experience and knowledge writing and performing her original music for audiences.

Riordan completed her Advanced Diploma of Music Industry, particularly focusing on performance, song writing, and music business.
​
She is excited to pass on her experience and knowledge to the talented students at Geelong Singing, Riordan believes correct singing techniques and vocal health are the backbone of any performer.
GRACE
Grace has spent many years in the local Musical Theatre scene, performing in productions including: The Sound of Music, Oliver and the past 7 Medimine Productions including Cinderella and The Grinch!
Grace has obtained ANZCA and Music Industry certificates and understands the effort and dedication required to be successful as a student and performer.

Grace has an amazing connection with her students and supports and guides them to reach their individual goals.
Grace is beyond excited to join the teaching team at Geelong Singing and share her passion and knowledge with the students!


ERIN
Erin has been teaching early years music classes and singing lessons for the past 15yrs. Teaching infants, children, teens and adults!
Her career began after being a student herself, completing her diploma of music, and also her singing / theory exams through ANZCA.
Erin has a passion for guiding students through finding and using their whole voice all while using safe techniques. She has a strong belief in the importance of learning
LIV
Liv’s musical theatre journey commenced at age 4 at GAPA, where her passion for the stage was ignited. This continued throughout her teenage years with GSODA, where she had the opportunity to take on wonderful roles such as Sharpay Evans in High School Musical 2 and Glinda in The Wizard of Oz.
For the past 3 years, Liv has joyfully shared her love for music teaching at ‘MusicBox’, a local youth theatre group.
​Liv brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of performance and vocal techniques and we are thrilled to have her join the Geelong Singing teaching team.
